EDE Center Summer Programs
For the dedicated student dancing in the summer provides consistent training important to technique development and for the recreational dancer summer is a great time to experience many styles of dance including their own.

Summer Camps
EDE company dancers and instructors who have extensive experience with education for youth teach these fun and engaging summer camps. All of the camps have fun themes and incorporate a variety of dance styles. The camps are offered at the EDE Center for Dance locations in Rochester Hills and in Birmingham at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.
The professional faculty and staff supervise the campers. AM and PM Latchkey is available at an extra charge, and can be arranged by calling the EDE Center to register at (248) 852-5850. Dancers in Camp 2 and Camp 3 will need to bring their own lunches. The center will supply drinks and snacks at appropriate times. No previous experience is necessary, however if children have had previous dance instruction, faculty members will provide a challenging and creative experience on an individual basis. Enrollment is limited, so early registration is advised. An informal performance for parents, family and friends will be held on the last day of each camp.

Summer Ballet Intensive
The EDE Center for Dance will be sponsoring its 5th annual Summer Ballet Intensive that will culminate with a performance of a timeless ballet. The performance will be held on July 26th at 7:00pm at the Oakland University, Varner Recital Hall. The Intensive will include a full Ballet class followed by rehearsal taught by professional dance artists, Stephanie Pizzo and Mary Bischoff. Participation in the Intensive requires an audition. The Intensive is for the Intermediate/Advanced level dancer 12 years and older. If you cannot make the audition date, please call the EDE Center for Dance at (248) 852-5850 to make other arrangements.

Youth Dance Intensive
The EDE Center will be offering the second annual Youth Dance Intensive for students Beginner to Intermediate level ages 10-14. Classes will be in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop.
July 8 - August 7
